Scrip

The Mountain School has partnered with the Great Lakes Scrip Center to bring you "scrip" -- negotiable gift certificates that you buy at face value and use at local and national retailers. You can buy things you would have purchased anyway, and a portion of the scrip amount (usually 4-15%) goes back to the school. The list of participating retailers is great -- from discount stores to gas, groceries, drugstores, movie theaters, and high-end retailers.

Here’s how to participate:

Download the order form (pdf), which lists all of the participating retailers
Send in the order form along with your check made payable to 'LGSONS' by the order due date to your class rep or Stephanie Snow.
Your Scrip gift cards will be ready within 5-7 business days of the order date.

Bonus contribution offers

Great Lakes Scrip Center often has periods of time where they offer a bonus contribution in addition to the normal contribution percentage. For example, if The Gap is offering a 2% bonus contribution during a set period, that means Gap gift cards will have a 11% contribution instead of the normal 9% contribution, during that time period only. The current special offers are listed here.

e-Scrip

eScrip is basically an electronic version of Scrip. You register your debit, credit and Safeway club cards and a percentage will be given back to our school based on your monthly purchases. It’s simple, easy and makes a BIG difference.

Here’s how it works:

Sign up on the eScrip web site
Enter the LGSONS School ID: 3593396
Register your debit, credit, Safeway, and Macy’s club cards. Don’t forget to register both spouses’ cards and other family members.
Shop at registered merchants and start earning money for Mountain School!

You can find a list of participating merchants on the eScrip site. American Airlines, Cosentino’s, Lunardi’s, Macy’s, Roundtable Pizza, and Safeway are just a sampling.

eScrip Online Mall

With contributions as high as 16% on the eScrip Online Mall, the fundraising potential is nearly limitless.

Here’s how it works:

Register at eScrip's Online Mall, using the LGSONS School ID: 3593396.
Shop at your favorite brand name stores and automatically donate to Mountain School

Shop at over 1000 of your favorite online merchants such as: Nordstrom, eBay, Gap, Home Depot, Best Buy, Apple Store, Disney, and Barnes and Noble
